With experienced professionals ready to offer you an exclusive journey from the heights of the latest and the state-of-the-art Ultra magic hot air balloons.
Our flights are crafted by a team of well-trained and born-bred professionals who love their beautiful country, Tanzania. They are ready to deliver authentic balloon safari experiences from a native's perspective.
Our camps are located in the supreme areas of the Serengeti plains. We deliver thrilling views of the beautiful wildlife with the famous migration of the wildebeests. Our permanent base camp is Central Serengeti (Seronera), where we fly all year round and we also have seasonal camps at Kogatende (June to November) and Ndutu (December to March). We will soon move to other national parks and game reserves.
A balloon safari is a peaceful aerial adventure where you travel above Tanzania's spectacular wilderness in a hot air balloon. Unlike a traditional game drive, you experience the landscape from above, enjoying panoramic views while the morning sun transforms the African plains into a golden masterpiece.
At Shine Balloon Safaris, we combine breathtaking views, comfort and exceptional service to create a memorable journey above Tanzania's most remarkable landscapes.
Your adventure begins before sunrise. After an early morning transfer to the launch site, watch as the balloon is prepared for take-off. Then rise gently into the sky and drift peacefully above the wilderness as Tanzania awakens beneath you.
Take in the spectacular scenery, capture unforgettable photographs and enjoy the feeling of seeing Africa from above. It is more than a safari — it is a moment you will remember long after your journey ends.
